Stuckless Consulting Inc. is an independent consulting practice that is passionate about supporting people who are making change. Since September 2020, the practice has focused on supporting initiatives to co-create sustainable, inclusive and healthy communities by providing strategic support to social profit organizations and municipalities. Areas of focus include community engagement, policy development and project coordination.


Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Stuckless Consulting Inc. works on projects across North America. The practice is independently owned and operated by Jamie Stuckless.

Jamie Stuckless, Owner & Principal Consultant

Jamie is a big picture thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping communities create change. With over a decade of experience working in the mobility sector, she is a natural public speaker and coalition builder who knows how to collaborate, problem-solve, and get things done.

At Stuckless Consulting Inc., Jamie focuses on projects that prioritize community & stakeholder engagement, best practices, and multi-sector collaboration. Jamie is deeply committed to making walking, wheeling, and public transit more accessible mobility options for people, and she is proud to be working on projects across North America that are aligned with this goal.

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Jamie holds a Master's in Geography from McMaster University and is an alumnus of the Maytree Policy School. Prior to launching Stuckless Consulting Inc., Jamie served as the Executive Director of the Share the Road Cycling Coalition and worked at EnviroCentre and Green Communities Canada. Jamie is a member of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) and a member of the Ontario Traffic Council's (OTC) Active Transportation Committee.

Nancy Smith Lea, Senior RESEARCHER

Nancy Smith Lea has over thirty years of professional experience as a project manager with specialized knowledge in applied research and policies specific to Complete Streets and active transportation. She has authored or co-authored more than thirty publications, and successfully managed many multi-stakeholder projects. This includes influential data collection projects like the City of Toronto’s ActiveTO Major Road Closures Intercept Survey and User Experience Survey, and an Economic Impact Study for the Bloor West Bike Lane Pilot Project. Nancy holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and Equity Studies from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is the former Director of The Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT) and is currently a multi-modal theme co-lead on a national research partnership on mobility equity.
