Rethinking active transportation beyond COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic led to drastic changes in our mobility patterns and challenged many assumptions about transportation planning. 

Throughout 2020, communities around the world observed an upward trend in walking, cycling and being active outdoors. But despite these increases, people's preference for driving is significant. 

How can we adapt to support this growing interest in walking and cycling, and ensure that people have access to active, affordable and healthy modes of transportation?
